Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler

Summer is the perfect time of year for a yummy peach cobbler.
Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler
ingredients
2 ct 15 oz cans canned peaches, drained
1/4 cup and 2 Tbsp sugar, divided
1 ct Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp. tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. tsp ground ginger
1 ct Tbsp honey
1 tsp. tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. tsp coarse sea salt
1/2 cup butter, cold and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
3/4 cup milk
1 ct Vanilla bean ice cream, for serving
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a Dutch oven with cooking spray and set aside.
Combine peaches, 1/4 cup of sugar cornstarch, cinnamon, ginger, honey, and vanilla in a large bowl and toss to coat. Transfer to prepared Dutch oven and set aside.
Combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Add Butter and combine using your fingertips or pastry cutter until mixture resembles course cubs. Pour in milk and stir until just combined.
Top peach mixture evenly with dollops of biscuit batter. Bake until biscuitsts are golden-brown and peaches are bubbling about 30-35 minutes.
Cool cobbler for a few minutes before topping with ice cream.
